Flashback to 2011!!! I can't find a photo of my first market stall in 2005 but this was the Boujee one - a vintage fair on the Southbank in London. In fact my first stall was at a farmers market and I used a plain white bed sheet and made potato prints in gold (of course) of butterflies all over and used it as a tablecloth for the stall. I crafted this necklace some time ago because I couldn't bear to see vintage brooches that were broken remain neglected. So, I transformed them into necklaces. However, this particular one ended up in a tangled mess, and to my surprise, I found out why—it somehow got ensnared by a magnet, along with another brooch that was missing its back. While the original necklace will require another cup of coffee to untangle, I now have the loveliest magnet for my plain whiteboard! I have a feeling I'll be making more of these soon! #handmadejewellery

I have a passion for rescuing old, damaged necklaces, salvaging the beads and clasps whenever possible to breathe new life into them. These beads might date back to the 1950s, making them undeniably vintage and, in my eyes, worth preserving and repurposing! I can't stand contributing to landfills and, although I'm not a perfect recycler—especially while sorting through my parents' home of three decades—I strive to be more environmentally conscious by recycling things like wine bottles, among other efforts! #handmadejewellery #vintagebeads #reusedbeads
